Find a beekeeping mentor in North Carolina
Whether you have no or some experience with bees, or have been away from beekeeping for many years and ready to get started again, every beekeeper benefits from a mentor. I've been keeping bees close to a decade and I still have the same mentor who I started with before I even had my first hive.
I’m a big fan of 1:1 mentoring, meeting people where they are, and enabling their success as leaders in their field. A little about my beekeeping and coaching background:
Many beekeeping clubs offer their own mentor programs. These vary by design, time commitment, and obligations. I encourage you to find your local beekeeping club and learn about mentorships and learning hives in your area.

5 things to know about my mentorships
- You don't need a hive to get started. Use our mentorship time to site an optimal location for your apiary, source bees, and prepare.
- Hive inspections can be on your own hives or mine in Pittsboro or Robbinsville, North Carolina. You don't need to be in North Carolina for us to work together--virtual inspections possible.
- 1:1 time is priority. Weekly text updates are not group texts. You receive personal support.
- You don't need to practice natural beekeeping to work with me. However, I can help support you since that's how I keep my bees.
- Mentorships include a paid subscription to my blog dedicated to natural beekeeping and permaculture. This perk grants you access to select events, plus paid subscriber-only content.
